Hiking for Refugees

This event combines a life-long dream of David Crane’s to hike the Appalachian Trail with a challenge to raise funds for his work in Central East Africa among refugees from S. Sudan who are living in camps in Uganda and Kenya.

The challenge is to pledge any amount for each mile of the 2,181 mile of the Appalachian Trial. David says, that while it is a life-long dream to walk the AT, “mostly, I am hiking to raise money for the refugees – A lot of money. My goal is $100,000. “Sponsor me by the mile. Make a lump sum donation. Everything helps. No donation is too small to make a big impact.”
